Ingredients: Red Cargo Rice
Cooking Method: 1 cup of Rice to 5 cups of clean water.
- Combine and soak for half an hour
- Cook on Moderate Heat till boiling (about 5 mins)
- Turn to Low and allow to simmer until all the water is gone (about 17 mins)
- Remove heat and allow to stand for 5-10 mins and the fluff with a fork and enjoy with your choice of condiment. Mary-Ann and I choose our Herb Salt with cubes of Avo. Delicious with Thai Curry as well. This is a vegan rice, don’t mess it up by dragging any dead animals into the picture!
